I feel so sorry for Austria regarding her castings in Milan during 2008, I think she was totally mis-advised to go to Milan and endure such casting rejections, when it was known that the likes of Prada had pre-requisites of looks in mind (Un-Stated by them, but clearly so!), this is not just archaic in attitude but also limiting for Top Fashion and it sets Modeling back 30 years.
I would advise Austria and others like her to boycott Milan and the likes of Prada in favour of New York, London and South America where industry professionals are a little more enlightened.
If Prada & Milan represent the cream of Fashion and Modeling within Europe, then I'm ashamed to be European.
Austria is an amazing new model talent and at just 16 years of age she has already completed some brilliant photoshoots, I hope she will be seen as one of the top names in 2009.
