Eva Mendes is featured in a racy photoshoot in the May issue of Italian Vogue, posing as a Sophia Loren look-alike from the retro 1950's-60's. Vogue Italia is not known for favoring celebrities for their covers. This is probably only the second time they've featured a celebrity instead of a fashion model on their cover.
