Fashion designer Stella McCartney has got her spring/summer shoe collection up on her new website. The site is really nicely done. If you live in the US you can shop there online, if you live anywhere else, you'll have to wait to order. Waiting may be in order anyway as the floral sandals shown above cost $695.00.
But at least we can say they are eco-friendly shoes, made from all non-animal products. Last year McCartney teamed up with PETA to host the world's first virtual anti-fur rally on Second Life. Lots of high-heeled sandaled group of banner waving virtual people showed up to protest.
Below is a video of Stella McCartney's Spring/Summer 2008 Collection. One of the models twisted her ankle falling off her platform shoes but otherwise everything looks very light and springy, though some of the models look like they could use some vegan food ASAP.
