There's going to be a crowd of cosmetic surgeons (and maybe other less qualified types) in New York in November attending a two day workshop on how to perform smart lipo surgery. Cynosure Lasers has contributed a grant towards the workshop but nevertheless the people attending will shell out $4,950 for this brief introduction to one of the hottest growth areas in cosmetic surgery.
The unrelated photo above (via Joe Shlabotnik) is a women's derrière in a pair of painted-on jeans. It's an ad for anti-cellulite cream called LIPO-METRIC. Looks like the VICHY marketing people have seen the appeal of using lipo lingo.
