Here's Penelope Cruz in an ad for L'Oreal Telescopic mascara. The ad says the mascara will make your lashes up to sixty percent longer. But one woman who saw the ad made a formal complaint, saying that Cruz was wearing false eyelashes. It turned out she was indeed wearing false individual eyelashes and not just the touted mascara.

The ASA has ordered L'Oréal to add a disclaimer to future ads if models are shown wearing false lashes.
