I agree the new cut looks bad. I think it looks like a helmet and the highlights are awful. WHY is everyone getting them?? They almost never look natural.

Anyway pulling hair up and back is a great way to take years off the age you look so the pony tail was better.

To the poster who called the other comment maker an ass...they were giving an opinion of the new hairstyle not an opinion of the person who got it. Being honest is not being rude but you sure were.
