Hello,
I had my surgery 5 weeks ago. I do still have some swelling which I'm told is to be expected. What I'd like to know is - how long should I wear the compression garment? I've gone from wearing the one the doctor provided to a spanx type. I was told it was okay to go 12 hours on and 12 hours off. However I've read on other sites wearing it after 3 to 4 weeks promotes the swelling to last longer. What do you think?
