It is now been 1 week & 1 day since my Smart Lipo procedure. I had my upper and lower abdomen areas done late on Friday afternoon and was back to work @ 6:00am the following Monday. Don't know why you even needed actual pain meds! Yes, the pain was uncomfortable, but not unbearable - sounds like your Dr/Technician may have been too aggressive or not as precise. I was asked to take Ibuprofen the next day and haven't even needed to take any after the 4th day. Just curious, did you go to a real Doctor? What I mean by that is, someone who understands about connective tissue and has vascular knowledge? I haven't had problems with bloating or gas and have been eating my normal amount of food (being a natural size 2 I've always eaten as much as I wanted) and haven't changed my food choices. My Doctor told me upfront about the length of the procedure and the healing time & to keep the compression garment on (at least 4 weeks). He has scheduled regular follow-ups to make sure I'm on track in the healing process. I have peeked from time to time & do not see or feel any lumps or roping. Some of the reviews I've read mention itching??? From what??? Hope you all feel better soon, wish you could have had as good an experience as I had. Any comments?
