In response to Izzy's question about gas and bloating after eating...yes,I too have noticed this happening. In addition,it's painful! I was already slender(size 2) but had a stubborn pregnancy "pooch" that wouldn't budge no matter what amount of excercise/dieting I did. I have a pretty high pain threshold,so when I was told the procedure was to be done under local antesthestic I thought "piece of cake!"...WRONG! I equate the pain to childbirth..you kinda feel like you've been hit by a truck! Even with the compression garment on it was extremely painful getting out of bed,and FORGET bending over! I am now on day 10 and this is the second day I have not had to take pain medication. The swelling has subsided substantially but I have noticeable lumps and bumps above the pubic region that are quite concerning.(I had no fat in this area before) I asked the dr. about it and he said it's completely normal and that you really can't tell anything about your results for at least a month. So, I am going to try to avoid looking at my stomach for 3 more wks and hope that by then I have a smooth(if not flat) tummy.
