I am turning 31 on 10/10 and had smart lipo in April on my abs, flanks, and inner thighs. I am now going in next week for a touch up (thighs only, but am getting a second opinion about my stomach). I'm not looking forward to it, but my legs must be fixed. They are lumpy with a pocket look with no signs of improvement even after diet and exercise. I am crossing my fingers the doctor can even it out. I wish I never had my stomach done because it used to be my favorite part of my body. I could always get a great six pack and now I can no longer see them! I fell into adding my stomach just to get rid of the fat cells (I was thinking of down the road when it's tougher for women in that area). Bottom line, if you're young, no matter how much energy it takes...go to the gym and tone up that way! Don't mess with mother nature! For more than a month now I have been doing intense circuit training three times a week. It's expensive, but is worth the $. You will be disappointed with how much you paid for the results you get from smart lipo. I hope I can return with better news after I've healed the second time around. However, the procedure is completely misrepresented. I missed out on exercise for well over two weeks and had a burning sensation in my sides for over two months. I consider myself a tough cookie, but it is NOT a hop-in-the-saddle, sit-in-your-work-chair the next day procedure. I was stiff and walked like Frankenstein for quite awhile. Another downfall is the scars. The scars themselves are small, but on my stomach it has a pinched look, and is obvious you had something done. If you decide to have the procedure ask that they try to hide them lower. Do your research and think this process over before jumping in...
