Gail decided to go ahead with SmartLipo three weeks ago. She had researched it on the web but couldn't find any info about any negative or adverse reactions, so she decided to go for it.
SmartLipo claims to be a fast and pain-free alternative to traditional liposuction with almost no downtime. Some places are portraying it as a procedure you can have done over your lunch hour.
But Gail has written a progress report about how it's turned out for her over the first three weeks. She had it done above and below her belly button. And she is warning people that it was not pain-free nor a fast fix.
She says that a week after she still had difficulty bending over. Only two weeks later could she even contemplate exercise. And now it is three weeks later and she is still wearing a compression garment. She says she has a very big lump above her belly button which is painful to touch and quite visible under her clothes unless she wears the compression garment. She is thinking that this may not go away in the next four weeks when she goes to the beach for her holidays.
