Cecilia Sarkozy, age 49, is the wife of the new President of France. Here is a photo of her and her five children (including two step-sons).

Der Spiegel is reporting that Sarkozy and her private life are attracting far more interest amongst France's population than the major new shifts in the political agenda.

The President of France is her second husband. He first met her at her first wedding, where he officiated the ceremony as then mayor of the town. That's when he fell in love with her and began trying to win her over. They married several years later, after each had two children by their previous marriages.

In 2005, she had a very public affair with Richard Attias. In early 2006, she returned to her husband. How could Hollywood possibly beat this storyline?
