A three month old bear at a Berlin Zoo has become an instant celebrity superstar.

Over half of all Germans are following his progress as he grows up and hundreds of journalists from all over the world have come to see him.

His polar bear mother rejected him and he is being raised by the zookeepers.

Knut is such a big star that he will appear on the cover of Germany's new Vanity Fair magazine in a couple of days.
