Britney Spears showed up at a tattoo parlor in Sherman Oaks, LA yesterday sporting a freshly shaved head. She is completely bald. Employees of the tattoo store said she seemed very disturbed, distraught and scattered. There is a rumor now that Madonna is flying in to Los Angeles to be with her and try to help her.

Britney told the staff there that she wanted to shave her head because she was tired of people touching her and things being 'plugged-in'.

It really sounds as though she is having a psychotic breakdown. Realistically, how many people could survive the kind of constant camera-on that she has to deal with every moment of her day. Hopefully Madonna and those close to her can help her now. Maybe Justin Timberlake (her ex-boyfriend who she's known since she was twelve years old) and his mother could take some extreme measures and help her now. The situation seems very frightening in terms of her mental health.
