A young woman from Holland has just won the Ford Models Supermodel of the World competition. Sanne Nijhof is 19 years old and lives in the Netherlands.

The prize is the most prestigious for new faces in the modelling world and includes a $250,000 modeling contract with the Ford Model Agency.

This is a video clip of the competition where 44 women (each from a different country) competed for the prize. At the end of the video you see more details of the four other finalists along with Sanne Nijhof. It looks like the average model in this competition was only about 17 years old.
