Dayanara Torres, 32, a former Miss Universe, has just signed on as the face of Beverly Hills 6750, a new cosmetic surgery center.

Is this the first time a plastic surgery clinic has been promoted by a celebrity? This may be the beginning of an interesting future marketing trend.

Don't go looking for this center anywhere in LA though. It's based in the Philippines. However, they do say they are affiliated with the Beverly Hills Institute in Southern California.

The Philippines hopes to become a major contender in the international medical tourism scene. Beverly Hills 6750 medical director Eduardo Santos said that as an image model, Torres “provides credibility to the whole business with her wholesome image and professional reputation.”

Torres was married for four years to Marc Anthony. Two years ago, less than a week after their divorce was finalized, Anthony married Jennifer Lopez. We'll be seeing a lot more of Torres soon. She also just signed on with Walmart to represent a high end clothing line. The photo above is part of this new promotion.
