Marcia Cross threw out some photos as well as copies of her tax returns recently. The garbage truck people found them. And now they have over 200 personal photos of Cross, including some of her showering naked outside. They say the pictures were not stolen; that when you throw something away, you forfeit that property. According to their rep, some copyright laws may apply, but these stop at the border and the photos can be sold in other countries.

Does this mean every celebrity has to invest in a shredder and carefully cull their daily garbage? This seems like one huge extra headache for celebrities everywhere.
