I guess only a celebrity dentist would know the answer to this but the more accurate answer is probably that most celebrities do not get their teeth whitened. Instead, they go for the more expensive route of getting veneers placed over their teeth. Veneers do not require whitening.

If you are considering having your teeth whitened to the whitest white shades you see on most celebrities and ads, many dentists will warn you about potential side-effects. Too much bleaching can lead to extreme gum irritation and damage. It can even result in blotchy or discolored teeth. And the teeth-whitening products only work on your natural teeth, they will not whiten your crowns or cavities. And apparently, there are some recent studies that have suggested that too much whitening can lead to oral cancer, though there is probably not enough conclusive data out there yet to prove this.
