Sculptra is increasingly being used for treating aging skin, and especially for a hollow face that sometimes comes with aging or with diseases such as HIV. Sculptra stimulates collagen volume and helps to restore the fat loss on the face. Dr Berger is currently featured in Star Magazine as a proponent of the use of Sculptra as an alternative to more invasive facial cosmetic surgery. His website notes that unlike Restylane or Collagen, Sculptra works by actually stimulating your own skin to produce new collagen.
