Our Faces Age from the Top Down

Submitted by Meg Wilson on August 21, 2006 - 10:11.

Here are before and after photos of one of the clients who was very happy with Dr. Jacono's work.

Dr. Jacono explains that the face ages from the top down. The brows are the first thing to go. In the 40's the mid face begins to fall, followed by the jaw and neck in the 50's.

He's written a book; Face The Facts: The Truth About Facial Plastic Surgery Procedures That Do and Don't Work, which sells for under $12.00 at Amazon and ten percent of proceeds will go to a national project offering plastic surgery to victims of domestic violence.

On Friday, Dr. Andrew Jacono was lecturing at the NYC Aging Face Conference about endoscopic techniques for face and brow lifts. Endoscopic techniques are rising quickly in popularity as a less-invasive type of face lift.
