Organic Beauty: Sheherazade Goldsmith

Submitted by Meg Wilson on August 2, 2006 - 16:47.

One of the world's best dressed women, according to Vanity Fair and their just announced Best Dressed List is Sheherazade Goldsmith.

Sheharazade, 32, married early in life and has three children under the age of six. Before she met her ecologically-oriented husband, her favorite food was white bread and marmite. But now she lives on a farm with pigs and sheep and eats organic foods.

If you're starting to get an image of a barefoot farmer's wife working in the corn fields with three children hanging off her back, let's quickly correct this.

Goldsmith's home is a 300 acre hobby farm in Devon. She spends the other half of her time at an ultra deluxe residence in London. And her husband's net worth is probably at least one hundred million dollars, thanks to the fortune built up by his recently deceased tycoon father.

Goldsmith says her skin has really improved and her immune system is much healthier since she started eating seasonal and locally grown organic foods.

I've been scouting for some photos on the web to show some examples of Goldsmith's fabulous dressing style but haven't come up with anything yet. The picture above is about four years old. Anyone in the know, please send tips this way.
