Elie is a 75 year old woman who walks three miles a day. She credits walking with alleviating the pains of aging. She also says her varicose veins don't bother her and she doesn't need to get them stripped due to her walking regiment.

Lasers are an increasingly popular way for 'stripping' varicose veins'. The process is called called laser venous ablation. I found a good article about this process below.
