Most Powerful Women According to Forbes

Submitted by Meg Wilson on August 28, 2008 - 08:49.

Forbes has come out with their annual list of the 100 most powerful women in the world. You can view the list by rank, occupation, or country. They've also made some mini-lists from the top 100 for different categories such as the top women in media,
finance high flyers, and women to watch.

It's interesting to look at all the pictures and see real wrinkles and hairstyles.

Pictured above is Janet Robinson and Andrea Wong. Robinson is the President and Chief Executive of the New York Times and ranks as #83 on the list. Wong is the CEO of Lifetime Entertainment Services. She played a major role in shaping reality TV with hits like The Bachelor, Extreme Makeover and Dancing with the Stars. Wong is on 'the women to watch' list.

The Trend to Not So Perfect Veneers

Submitted by Meg Wilson on August 28, 2008 - 11:23.

See yesterday's New York Times for a good article about how people no longer want the perfect veneers you see on many celebrities. These may look great on TV but is a bit much in everyday life and light. People are starting to ask for veneers that have some imperfections and are not the whitest shade of white.

See their veneer story here.
