Sarah Palin would easily make the best-dressed lists in our view. We really like her sense of fashion and choice of clothing styles and were wondering where she shops.

Now the report comes out that she has spent more than $150,000 on clothing and accessories during the month of September. Her shopping sprees were footed by the National Republican Committee.

Financial disclosure records reveal a couple of big shopping trips including $49,000 at Saks Fifth Avenue and $75,000 at Neiman Marcus. The RNC also paid almost $5,000 for hair and makeup during September.

Her October expenditures will not be released until after the November 4th election.

It's likely that a fashion consultant was involved in helping Palin with her makeover. Her taste in clothes has changed considerably in short order. (In fact she now apparently has a whole secret team of stylists according to the Huffington Post).

Palin was able to do this in one month but apparently it takes the average American family 80 years - that's 960 months - to spend $150,000 on clothes.
