I did some online shopping for clothes for the first time ever last week. I always thought I needed to try on the clothes in the store before buying. I'm pretty picky about the clothes I like. Most of the the time when I go into a clothing store dressing room with a pile of clothes to try on I come out not liking anything. So I couldn't see how I could possibly succeed with online clothes shopping.
But a friend of mine had been wearing a flattering tank top and I liked it so much I wanted one too. So I went to Eddie Bauer online and picked out a few things along with the Crochet Trimmed Tank top shown in the first image above.
They described it as an absorbent, soft pima cotton tank comfortable and cool for everyday wear. Hand crochet trim highlights the feminine wrap neckline, while an empire waist flatters every figure.
I bought an aster one and one in black. As I'm 5'9" I was very happy to have a 'tall size' option to choose from. I also bought a few other summer clothing items for me and my husband. They said delivery would be about seven to nine days so I was amazed when I received the package two days later. I really love the clothes, and am looking forward to shopping there again soon.

The last thing people would label me as is a 'fashionista.' I don't shop for clothes much and usually wear the same few things. When I do need something new I usually first check out a couple of really nice second-hand stores in my neighborhood that sell designer clothes at great prices. I bought a beautiful piece there a couple of months ago. It was a label I didn't recognize but I'm sure most fashionista's have heard of it. It's called Sandwich Clothes and the designers are based in the UK. I was hoping I could find the same item online (in a second color) that I had bought in the second-hand store, but no luck, it must have been last year's thing. However, they do have some gorgeous pieces in their current online offerings. See more of their selection here.
Update: The Sandwich clothing line is coming to America. They are opening a store inside the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas.
Here's a spectacular and very short video (only 37 seconds) promoting a cosmetic dentist whose office is at the beautiful Whistler ski resort town in BC Canada. We especially like the special effect at the end of the video.
