Welcome to Cosmetic Makeovers. Meg and Adriana joined forces to collaborate on this site in May 2006. We're friends from way back in high school. Our goal is to keep you entertained around the most interesting developments in the world of cosmetic beauty.

Though we hope some of this is educational and useful, our main objective is to focus on the fun and interesting aspects of cosmetic beauty.

In December of 2006 we changed domain names and promptly lost all our previous links. In 2007 we are starting anew.

We are actively seeking feedback and reader contributions. If you have something you can add, please comment on the site or send us your scoop.

Meg has a serious education and has dabbled in executive corporate positions. She also got a heady taste of dot-com co-founder mania (for four years) but came down with a crash. She now lives in the big city, stays at home with one happy and willful dictator (toddler) and has a husband who wants to trash her computer. Meg is of two minds about the beauty industry.

Adriana led an exciting life before she became a high school teacher and got married. She now has two children and lives in a ski resort town. Adriana is a super-efficient pragmatist. Her goal is to make Cosmetic Makeovers into a daily must-read for the movers and shakers in the beauty/aesthetics industries.

How to advertise with us?

Most of the advertising on Cosmetic Makeovers is via Google Adwords. Adwords enables you to advertise on any number of web sites. Your budget can be very tiny, even less than $100 dollars per month and you can still get some great exposure for your product.

PS, please note we are not interested in any other ad propositions at this time. If we ever become a really big site and change our mind about this, you will see it here first. We can't answer most of the emails we get requesting links or advertising.

But if you want to write a piece about your product or service, (ideally something both entertaining and educational) such that it will be an enjoyable read for our audience - where they will think oh! that was interesting! - and also unique to our site (where it has not been published somewhere before) then we would be very happy to post it here, along with a link to your site.

Though we are always definitely most interested in sincere personal makeover stories (both the good and the bad). So please especially do send us these.
