A woman who's being called 'the Botox bandit' has been getting free Botox and Restylane treatments at Newport Beach cosmetic surgery clinics. She arrives as a walk-in patient, gives a false name and sneaks out after her treatments without paying. A week ago she got $1,000 worth of Botox injections in her forehead as well as Restylane filler for the wrinkles around her mouth. Then she asked to buy about $500 worth of beauty products before stepping outside to take 'an important call' on her cellphone. Police say the same woman appears to have pulled off a similar stunt just six weeks earlier at a different clinic, getting $3,000 worth of Botox (35 units) and Juvederm treatments there. Why she would need more Botox just six weeks after this massive dose is one of the many sad questions of this story.
