Google is trying out a new experiment on YouTube. They've partnered with PopTub to syndicate their channel across the web to their Adsense publisher partners.
PopTub is a channel on YouTube sponsored by Pepsi. They aim to be the 'Entertainment Tonight' version of online YouTube showbiz. They are relatively new and as of this morning had less than 4,000 subscribers. But with this deal, they are going big, big time, and expect to get over 3 billion views in the next ten weeks.
Their goal is to provide us with a daily digest of the best viral videos, YouTube stars and our favorite celebrities.
