Girdles for Men

The Wall Street Journal has an interesting article today about the growing demand for men's girdles. Although men's girdles are starting to sell in good numbers, compression underwear is rarely called a 'girdle'. Much more masculine sounding names are 'support boxers', 'compression shorts' and 'bodyshaping underwear'.

Some of the leading companies catering to this trend are Go Softwear, Andrew Christian, Undergear and Solidea.

The two girdles shown above are some of the many sold on Amazon today. The black shirt is a Cotton Concealer Compression Gynecomastia Muscle Shirt It stretches and recoils as your body moves but on the inside are powerful layers of nylon spandex knit binding your chest, flattening your belly and pressing against your back in support. Wear it to workout or down the street, the compression is a secret between you and your shirt.

The white 'compression body shirt girdle' is an invisible undershirt that eliminates bulges throughout your upper body. It gives you the straight lines you want and provides your back with support from just under your neck to your lower back. The reinforced panel in the mid-section provides extra tummy flattening benefits.

Suddenly I'm hearing men's girdles are all the rage. Well, we've been manufacturing the highest quality all U.S. made men's support underwear & tank shirts aka girdles since 1984. It's been up until now such a small niche market it's been prohibitive to advertise to the general public. If you want the top of the line U.S. made 4 way woven stretch super long wearing cotton-feel support garment, look no further than Manshape. We've been making this product for 25 years.
