From these two photos it looks like Marc Andreessen underwent a successful hair transplant recently. The before photo was taken last September and the second photo is for a Fortune article published today. Marc Andrreessen is a tech wizard multi-millionaire. He is 36 years old. He founded Netscape in his early 20's and sold it to AOL at the age of 24.

There's a good write-up about him and his opinion on the death of traditional media in the Spiegel today. He says if there is one thing that overwhelms him about the web now it is information. He says, "I certainly have too much information. It drives me bananas. that's why I have gone on an information diet."
