How to get rid of flabby arms and get them toned in time for the summer? If you are overweight, losing weight is a first step and working on your triceps (the muscles at the back of the arm) and biceps will help make them look sleek and toned. Here's a five minute video workout focused on the biceps and triceps using dumbbells. It looks simple to do. Maybe I'll try it for a few weeks and see what happens.

Well...exercise is a great idea, and far be it from me to say don't do it. Toning muscles anywhere on the body helps in more than one way.

But, if your flabby arms are due to weight loss or just saggy skin that happens to all of us as we age, you might look into arm lift plastic surgery, also called brachioplasty.

A friend of mine performs Sacramento plastic surgery, including arm lifts, for all kinds of patients...older, younger, men, women, people who have lost a significant amount of weight and those who haven't. You can learn more about brachioplasty at www.afterobesity.com
