Alycia Lane, age 35, is a TV news anchor in Philadelphia. She started her vacation early this year and it's not clear when she will be back on the air. This is because last night at 2:00am she allegedly punched a female police officer (in the face) and called her a dyke.

She has pleaded not guilty and she did have three other people with her as potential witnesses. Could this be a story made up by the police? The female police officer did go to hospital and was treated for a cut. It will be interesting if Alycia can somehow recover her reputation before going back on the air.
