Here's another Dove virtual marketing campaign that really makes us women go YEAH, that's the pressure we're under every day.
But not all is rosy at Dove. Several viewers have pointed out that Unilever (the corporate parent) is being hypocritical. One reader says; "I want to see how Unilever justifies this campaign in light of the numerous Axe/Lynx campaigns that actually promote the 'perfect 10' woman that young girls aspire to be. I understand the portfolio strategy, but the company is fake, contradictory and immoral."
