Brazil is the most-popular spot for plastic surgery outside of the United States. In 2006, 50,000 foreigners traveled to Brazil for health treatments. This was a 65 percent jump over 2004. And it's estimated that half of them came for plastic surgery in clinics in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and northeastern beach resorts such as Fortaleza.

A face-lift costs an average $6,000 in the U.S. but the same quality job can be found in Brazil for $1,200. And many of the clinics are very luxurious where patients are treated like royalty. See the story at Bloomberg.
