It looks like Melinda Dolittle may win this year's American Idol contest. See the video clip of her performance last night singing 'I'm a Woman'.

I am really disappointed to hear that the CD is being postponed. Won't the Michael W. Smith cruise postpone it even longer? The MFV release is not enough. I am afraid that the window of opportunity is narrowing as the next group of Idols emerges. I guess I am doubly disappointed because I was sick and could not get to the Ice Cream Tour in Philadelphia. I was so looking forward to that. Now I don't know when to expect the CD. This is past disappointment. This hurts. I wish there were some way I could contact Melinda. My space doesn't work for me.

Melinda Doolittle did postponed her new Album for July or August 2008. She was really busy with Malaria no more and Dreyer's ice cream tour lately. I am really disappointed that the CD has to be postponed. June was long enough, but 2 more months is too long. I don't see how Melinda can get it done when the Michael W. Smith cruise is coming up, too. This is a double disappointment for me because I wanted to go to the Philadelphia Ice Cream Tour and was sick. The MFV release was good, but I want MORE (and something that is not downloaded)! For me, this goes past disappointment. This HURTS!

Can't stand having to wait another one or two months! Your fans really want to have your CD, but promising it for June and then putting it off again is wearing on us. In this day, people are fickle. Your fans have waited for this for over a year and the single MFV is just not enough. There is a time frame for each Idol contestant to get into the mix. Once that time has passed, fans will move on. I'm not saying I won't buy the CD, but now the edge is wearing off. I'm afraid you are missing out on opportunities the longer you wait. I am hugely disappointed. In February, June did not seem so long that I couldn't wait, but adding 2 more months is too much. Anyway, we know you are going on a cruise with Michael W. Smith so that will take time. When will you have time to do the CD then? This is a double hurt because I was sick and had to miss the Philadelphia Ice Cream Tour. To find out that the CD is postponed now is past disappointment. This hurts.

I am huges fans of Melinda Doolittle, i am part of the website www.melindafan.net who we support her. She did releases her first song on i Tunes My Funny Valentine. She is a amazing singer.
