Melancholy Thongs decided to have double eyelid surgery. She already had one double eyelid from birth and she wanted both eyes to be more symmetrical. Here is her before picture and how she looked ten days after the surgery.
Ten days after the surgery she said; "Though the operation for double eyelid is considered a minor surgery, I didn't think it would be quite so difficult to get use to. It's not like there's any pain at all when you blink or move your eyes around, it's more like a certain tightness of the skin on your eyelids. For me, it really does take a lot of getting use to.
Imagine the skin around both sides of the bridge of your nose, just slightly under your brows pulled taut and tight. For some reason, the result is a dull migrane like ache just behind your eyes all the time. Then of course, there's when you look up. It feels like you're tugging at the crease!"
She had the operation one year ago, but this is the last time she talked about it on her site since then. It would be interesting to know how it's all worked out for her.
