Julie Dam Marries a Mysterious Hunk

Julie Dam, 35, one of the world's 'leading celebrity watchers', married David Wadler, 32, last week in New York.

Julia Dam controls celebrity scoops as a senior editor for People Magazine. She was born in Saigon and grew up in Dallas. After graduating from Harvard University in 1993 she went to New York to start an ambitious fashion reporting career. She's been working for People since 1999 and has said that her greatest contribution to society, at least in volume, has been her tireless chronicling of Jessica Simpson's love life.

Somehow she's also found the time to write a book, Some Like it Haute published earlier this year. The book is about a fashion editor who, while at a Paris fashion show, falls in love with a mysterious handsome man who seems to to be hiding something. She wrote the book on weekends and finished it in nine months.

Jeremy Wadler, her new husband, is the CEO of Roe River, an online video computer software development firm.

Her wedding shoe shown here, is the last note seen on her website, posted November 11th, on the day of her wedding. This was just after she threw off the paparazzi by posting that her wedding was still weeks away. Hopefully she'll be back from her honeymoon soon.

Why is it that you say their names are David and Julie, but then it suddenly switches to Jeremy and Julia?

Also, I'm pretty sure that the quote of "her tireless chronicling of Jessica Simpson's love life" was not serious.
