Eyelash transplant surgery may be a popular item soon on some women's wish lists.

You can now get long and thick lashes that just keep on growing. The procedure involves a small incision at the back of the scalp to remove hair follicles. These are carefully sown, one by one, to the eyelids. Eyelash transplants are not cheap, they cost about $3,000 per eye.

Transplanted eyelashes grow just like head hair and need to be trimmed regularly.
