Chanel Iman, only 15 years old, has got to have the best new name in fashion. She lives in Los Angeles and is said to be of African-American and Korean descent. She was first seen at the Ford Supermodel of the Year contest earlier this year (where she won $50,000 as the runner-up) and has since become a highly sought after catwalker.

Jossip just noted that the New York Styles section has a write-up about her today where Eric Wilson says modeling was her 'birth right'.

There is someone on MySpace who is claiming to be Channel Iman but I doubt it's actually her. If anyone knows about this please comment here.
