Olivia Newton-John celebrated her 58th birthday earlier this week. She's looking wonderful despite serious hardships in her life.

She is probably most famous for her role in the 1978 movie "Grease" with John Travolta. She's had many songs make #1 in the charts and in the 1980's her pop hit "Let's Get Physical" was an incredibly popular video showing flabby males transformed into hunks in a fitness gym.

In the last decade she has turned increasingly to spirituality. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in her early forties and found that meditation and yoga were the best solace for her. Last year her boyfriend of eight years went missing and has never been found.

Newton-John is about to release a new CD, "Grace and Gratitude" which she considers 'healing music'. Her producer Amy Sky, says: "Olivia just pushed herself to sing from a really honest, emotive place. She tried to just get to the heart of her voice. And that's what you hear. It just gives you goose bumps."
