A Mega Millions Makeover for the Winner

Whoever wins the mega millions jackpot today will be instantly $135 million richer. Such a major transformation calls for some serious study of a potential life makeover. One suggestion would be to curl up with some light weekend reading on Sex and the Single Zillionaire.

The book was written by Tom Perkins. Perkins is a rich and well-known venture capitalist who was briefly married to Danielle Steele a few years ago.

Here's some comments from Andrea. She helped staff one of his book-signing parties. She says she's seen lots of people who've had cosmetic surgery in the past and who look fine. But this was not the case at this party attended by millionaires;

"These women all had so much surgery that their faces looked strange and tight, doll-like. The faces had no expression: no warmth, no life, no movement. Maybe it’s the requirement for the initiation into the billionaire’s wives clubs. They were all thin and almost all tall. They all had a lot of makeup on and very serious jewelry. Hermes bags in abundance. Maybe that’s how they know to whom they should be polite–you can tell a colleague by the tightness of her face. I later saw The Famous Socialite wearing a one shoulder dress and a gorgeous diamond pin in the shape of a large feather. I complimented her on the dress when I gave her a book. She had the good graces to thank me kindly for the compliment, and her voice was so much older than her face it was shocking, and sort of touching. After she walked away a colleague said, “Now I understand how she’s gotten where she is. She has a butt like J. Lo’s …” It was true. She knew how to work her ass. Kind of astounding–I’ve never seen such a charismatic behind.

It’s a weird thing: the women’s faces look, well, not old, but the walks aren’t young, and the voices quaver. It’s strange and discordant."
