Meditation as the Ultimate De-Wrinkler

How old is this man? Would you believe he is 99 and will be celebrating his 100th birthday in a few months? He was born in Japan in April 1907 and moved to Los Angeles in 1962 to teach Zen Buddhist meditation.

I've had the wonderful opportunity to hear him lecture and see a couple of dozen of his monks at a retreat in Los Angeles. Many of these people are in their twenties and thirties, but quite a few are a lot older. Although they come from all over the world, one of many aspects they now have in common, that I found really amazing, is their incredibly radiant and wrinkle-free complexions. Their faces shine as if lit up with a soft glow light from inside.

And most of these men and women live in the real world of work and family stresses and responsibilities.

There's been many studies that show that a regular practise of meditation will reduce people's stress levels, and I'm sure this would help to reduce wrinkles and to aid a good complexion. After much meditation training, these people just don't find reason to furrow their brows or clasp their jaws anymore.
