Internal Bras for Sagging Breasts

Apparently one of the hottest new procedures being disucssed at the big conference of plastic surgeons in Brazil right now is the Internal Bra.

The internal bra was developed in Brazil and is part of the new trend to minimal scar surgery. It consists of a small piece of gauze implanted under the skin. It lifts the breast like a regular bra would. Once you have an internal bra, you never need wear a bra again.

These internal bras have been performed in the United States for many, many years. I work with a plastic surgery practice, and many women in Sonoma and Marin County choosing breast lift are interested in having their breasts supported so that they will not be as likely to sag again. Instead of placing a piece of gauze under the skin, several surgeons in the US use the patient's own excess tissue that's usually removed and discarded following the procedure. Maybe this gauze technique is better, but I'd need to see a lot more info on it before making that call.
