Veneers Can Be Too Big and White

Here's a photo of an example where veneers may be too big and too white to be optimally attractive. I don't know if Faye Dunaway (pictured here) would agree with me but it seems a lot of people who go ahead with getting expensive veneers installed are disappointed with the results because they look so unnatural. Here's one woman's opinion:

"I went in for porcelain veneers to fix my crooked teeth," says Michelle Roddy, 41, a writer in Denver. "I came out looking like George Hamilton, with big, flashbulb pearly whites. I could barely talk or eat."

One way to avoid this is to make sure you have a dentist who is experienced in this procedure and to also ask them to apply temporaries so you can test out the look before you decide to go ahead with the real veneers.
