The White Teeth Diet

What are the best things to eat to avoid getting discolored teeth? And can some foods actually help you remove existing stains?

Certain foods can help remove stains from your teeth according to Dr. Zase.

Apples, celery, carrots, cauliflower and cucumbers all produce saliva which combined with their natural fibers can help clean teeth and remove bacteria.

And strawberries will naturally whiten your teeth. Lemons can lighten and brighten too. They are a natural bleach.

Baking soda can help you remove existing stains. Use it on your toothbrush as you would use toothpaste.

The foods to try to avoid are coffee, red wine, blueberries and dark syrup sodas. These are all guilty of staining your teeth.
